During the 58th General Conference, Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India organized an Exhibition on ‘Radioactive Waste Management in India’ in keeping with the theme of Scientific Forum 'Radioactive waste: meeting the challenge - science & technology and sustainable solutions’ being held during the General Conference.

Two major exhibit models, one describing BARC's melter developed for use in the vitrification of High Level Waste and the other showing the BARC plant configuration for Minor Actinide Partitioning are on display. There are also some typical samples (non-radioactive) and brochures - pamphlets on the subject displayed for information and ease of explanation to visitors and delegates
